OSHA Issues Hazard Information Bulletin on Exposure to Beryllium in Dental Laboratories (April 23,2002).  A Hazard Information Bulletin was issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration April 22, 2002, instructing dental laboratories on how to prevent exposure to beryllium, which can cause a debilitating and often fatal lung disease known as chronic beryllium disease or "CBD," or lung cancer.
